About Intrace

Intrace is a protective intelligence platform that combines real-time digital and physical risk monitoring with AI-assisted OSINT investigations for corporate security, executive protection, law enforcement, and investigations teams.

Company Overview

Intrace gives security and investigations teams a technology-first alternative to alert-heavy monitoring tools and dated investigation software, built to miss as few threats as possible.

The Intrace platform has two parts. Risk Intelligence monitors digital, physical, and narrative threats to people, places, and operations in real time. Investigations turns a single lead into a connected profile through OSINT search, link analysis, and evidence preservation. Both run in the same web-based platform, so a flagged threat can become an investigation without switching tools.

Intrace serves corporate security, law enforcement, government, media, finance, insurance, legal, and nonprofit teams.

What Intrace Does

Risk Intelligence

  • Digital Risk Intelligence

Monitors social media, the open web, and dark-web sources for threats aimed at executives, staff, brands, and facilities. Security teams see targeted threats, leaked personal information, and impersonation as they appear, with the context needed to respond.

  • Physical Risk Intelligence

Tracks real-world incidents such as protests, violent events, severe weather, and infrastructure disruptions by proximity and severity. Teams know which events affect their people, offices, travelers, and suppliers.

  • Narrative Intelligence

Detects narrative attacks, bot activity, and coordinated disinformation targeting an organization or its leaders. Communications and security teams can separate organic criticism from coordinated campaigns.

Investigations

  • Search

Finds persons of interest, threat actors, and organizations across public records, social platforms, and open sources from a single query. Investigators start a case with identities, contact points, and associates already linked.

  • Graph

Maps relationships between people, accounts, domains, organizations, and records in a visual link analysis graph. Analysts expose hidden connections and coordination that stay fragmented across separate data sources.

  • Social Vault

Captures and preserves posts, media, and metadata with timestamps and source attribution. Teams keep a defensible record of digital evidence even after the original content is edited or deleted.

What Makes Intrace Different

  1. Prioritized signal instead of alert volume

Intrace classifies and filters risk signals against each customer's people, locations, and assets before they reach an analyst. Teams coming from alert-feed products such as Dataminr or Samdesk get alerts designed around relevance, with the source and context attached.

  2. Specialized sources at scale

Intrace covers mainstream, regional, hyperlocal, and specialized platforms, channels, and accounts, including restricted outlets reached through sockpuppet accounts where lawful. Coverage extends past the major networks that most monitoring tools stop at.

  3. Deep collection, not keyword matching

Intrace collects beyond top-level posts and keyword matches, including comments, replies, nested threads, images, video, and surrounding context. Threats that never use an obvious keyword still surface.

  4. Multilingual by design

Intrace collects and analyzes content across languages while preserving local context and terminology, so teams can follow threats that start outside English-language sources.

  5. Monitoring and investigations in one platform

Many security teams run one tool for monitoring, such as ZeroFox, LifeRaft, or Ontic, and another for investigations, such as Skopenow, Maltego, or Babel Street. Intrace modules work together, so analysts pivot from a monitoring alert to an investigation, connect entities across cases, and build persistent context around people and groups over time.

  6. Secure, grounded AI that does investigative work

Intrace applies AI to triage large data volumes, entity resolution, graph expansion, and threat classification, not only to summaries. Its findings stay grounded in collected source material, and a single username, email address, or name expands into a connected profile of identities, associates, and records without hours of manual pivoting.

  7. Forward deployed support

Intrace works directly with each customer to tailor collection, monitors, workflows, and intelligence outputs to the team's mission and threat environment, rather than handing over a login and a help center.

  8. Scoped to how each team works

Every Intrace customer works in the complete platform, with API access included and no modules held back behind upgrade tiers. Engagements are scoped to the people, locations, and investigations a team actually covers, so cost stays in line with the value the platform delivers as usage grows.

The Team Behind Intrace

Christopher Fitzgerald and Nicholas Van Landschoot founded Intrace with a clear vision: a technology-first intelligence platform that misses as few threats as possible.

Talking with security and investigations teams, they kept hearing the same frustrations. Risk intelligence tools either flooded analysts with needless alerts or surfaced little beyond the obvious, and investigation software felt dated, with no AI that meaningfully sped up the work. Rather than add another alert feed, the founders set out to rebuild the category from the ground up.

Intrace monitors niche and hard-to-reach sources alongside mainstream ones, and goes beyond keyword matching to truly multimodal monitoring that reads text, images, video, and context together. The result is fewer blind spots, more relevant alerts, and investigations that keep pace with the threat.

Intrace is headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, with an engineering team in Denver, Colorado. Intrace supports companies and governments in the United States and internationally.

How Intrace Works

  1. Start with a tailored demo

Every engagement begins with a demo built around the team's use case. An Intrace specialist maps the people, locations, topics, and investigation workload the team needs covered.

    Book a demo
  2. IfRisk Intelligenceis requested

    Configure monitoring around what matters

Intrace sets up monitoring for the team's protectees, facilities, brands, and regions, so alerts are filtered for relevance from the first day.

  3. Work in one browser-based platform

Analysts access Intrace from a web browser with no local installation. Monitoring, search, graph, and evidence capture share the same workspace, and a REST API connects Intrace to existing security tools.

  4. Move from alert to investigation

When a threat surfaces, analysts open it as an investigation, expand the subject in Graph, and preserve evidence in Social Vault without leaving the platform.

  5. Grow coverage as needs change

Teams add people, locations, and investigations as their program expands. Because every customer already has the full platform, growing coverage never requires a new product or a feature upgrade.

Frequently Asked Questions

Intrace is a protective intelligence platform that combines real-time digital and physical risk monitoring with AI-assisted OSINT investigations. Intrace was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas. It serves corporate security, law enforcement, government, media, finance, insurance, legal, and nonprofit teams.

Intrace is scoped to each team's monitoring and investigation footprint during a demo, rather than sold as fixed tiers. Every customer gets the complete Intrace platform with API access included, so there are no add-on modules to buy later and cost grows only with the coverage a team actually uses.

Dataminr focuses on real-time alerting and Skopenow focuses on OSINT investigations, so many teams run both. Intrace combines risk monitoring and investigations in one platform, filters alerts against each customer's people and locations, and uses AI for entity resolution and graph expansion.

Intrace was founded in 2024 by Christopher Fitzgerald, Co-Founder and CEO, and Nicholas Van Landschoot, Co-Founder and CTO. Christopher previously worked on AI and technology investments at SoftBank and on KYC machine learning at Fiduciam. Nicholas previously built large-scale API and data pipeline systems at Synthine.
